While some Halloween festivities in Butte and the surrounding area have come and gone, there is still plenty to rave about if you're looking to have a great time in your favorite costume OR want to scare the daylights out of yourself or a dear friend! Now, technically, your go-to crew at Townsquare Media in Butte for ghost stories and ghastly tours are no doubt our market president, Dan Charon, bad *ss broadcaster, Tommy O., and producer, Kaedance Charon. I mean, come on, two of the three host podcasts about it, so there's that! Impressive and very scary, for sure! So here's the thing, I don't have the knack or the knowledge to dive into ghost stories, but what I, along with the sturdy TSM prod crew, plan to provide throughout the next few days on our posts, are key places to go for haunted houses and Halloween parties in the Butte community and beyond! Now, a reminder that some events listed are family-friendly and some are not, so, please choose wisely. Okay, the countdown is on, so here we go! For today, here are three spots to have some Halloween fun and a scary good time.

Spirit of Columbia Gardens Family Halloween Party: This children-friendly event happens Sunday, October 30th, at the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel in Butte's Stodden Park, from noon until 6 p.m. Costumes are highly encouraged. Hey, it's Halloween, yo, so yeah?! FREE rides and popcorn will be for the taking, so enjoy a safe, exciting gathering for the whole family! While you're there, take lots of pics!

Screams Come True Haunted House, Escape Room & Hay Maze in Whitehall: This is it! You will be completely unhinged by this extreme Halloween scare experience! As posted on their Facebook page, this crazed event in Whitehall was voted Montana's BEST HALLOWEEN DESTINATION of 2022 by Travel Pulse online.  Booking a tour to scare the living "you know what" out of yourself has been made easy by visiting them online at Screams Come True MT. This event is NOT recommended for children under 7 years old, UNLESS attending the LIGHTS ON version on October 30th from 3 to 4 pm. Head to their site or call (406) 498-3807 for more details.

Butte Elks Lodge Adult Halloween Party:  You know the drill! Time to party pretty hard for Halloween at the Elks in Butte Friday, October 28th, with LIVE music by John Montoya. According to the Butte Elks Lodge, costumes are encouraged but not required. I say wear the costumes! Am I right? It's more fun that way, and besides, you can make a bigger fool of yourself if needed in disguise. Not encouraged... just sayin'. You must be 18 years of age or older to attend. Party begins at 8 p.m.

As indicated earlier in this article, more Halloween events in the area will be highlighted throughout the next few days on our websites, so please check back regularly.
