Dish-ability food truck open for lunch this Wednesday
Good news for Butte's food truck aficionados. We've got another one opening for the season late Wednesday morning, and this is definitely one worth checking out. In fact, this particular food truck, in addition to offering a bevy of delicious treats throughout the summer, is one with a purpose. A very noble purpose and one very deserving of your support.
Dish-ability is a food truck with the purpose of providing employment opportunities and life skills for people with disabilities. And what a tremendous job the staff does. From prep work, cooking, and cleaning to manning the register and providing service with a smile, Dish-ability gives goals and purpose to some of the Mining City's most special citizens while allowing them to learn valuable life skills and build invaluable self-confidence.
The Dish-ability truck will open this Wednesday morning at 11:30am with a pop-up event outside of 305 W. Mercury St. They will be serving delicious taco salads along with a sno-cone or a bottle of water for $10 and they will be serving them until they are gone. This will be a perfect lunch for a hot summer afternoon with temperatures expected to creep into the 90s and Lunch in the Park happening a few blocks away.
Dish-ablilty will be rolling out different menu items throughout the summer so if you see them, stop by and give them your support. Their next event will be on July 30th on the campus of Montana Tech. For further information or to make a donation, please call (406) 723-2070.
