Montana Tech Athletics and the Digger Athletic Association is seeking nominations for the Oredigger Hall of Fame. Montana Tech honors a new hall of fame class each year and continually accepts nominations to expand the pool of candidates. Voting for the Hall of Fame Class will take place after April 1st and announced soon after.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that the Orediggers of Montana Tech would be one of the 16 host sites where the first and second-round games of the National Championship, presented by Ballogy, would be played. Montana Tech also hosted first and second-round games a year ago, the first time in school history. The Orediggers are the No. 3 seed in the Naismith Quadrant and will play the 14th seed Pioneers from Wayland Baptist. The other matchup in Butte has the 11th-seeded Warriors of Lewis Clark State taking on the 6-seed Hope International (California).

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the teams for the 2024 NAIA Men’s Basketball National Championship First & Second Rounds presented by Ballogy. Montana Tech is ranked No. 3 in the Naismith Quadrant of the 64-team field. The other teams coming to Butte next week are No. 6 Hope International (Calif.), No. 11 Lewis-Clark State (Idaho), and No. 14 Wayland Baptist (Texas).
