Montana Tech's men's basketball team begins 2025 ranked 11th in the first NAIA coaches' poll of the year, the national office announced Wednesday morning.

Brandon Spencer continues to pile up the postseason honors in the wake of a tremendous senior season for the Montana Tech football program. The Tech center garnered NAIA All-America honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the Connecticut-based organization announced Wednesday.

The expansion of the Frontier Conference will take effect in 2025. The Frontier now stands at 14 members for football and as such will be split into 2 divisions. According to the Frontier Conference Website, the conference will be split into an East Division and a West Division, each with 7 members. The winner of each division will get an automatic bid into the NAIA national playoffs.

Michael Ure had 21 points and seven rebounds, Brayden Koch added 15 points and three assists, and the No. 6-ranked Montana Tech men's basketball team remained unbeaten with a 75-69 win over No. 4 Arizona Christian at the Coyote Classic.

Montana Tech athletics is thrilled to announce fan experience details for the Oredigger football team's NAIA Football Championship Series second-round home game Saturday, November 30.

Although their run through the Frontier Conference Tournament in Havre was shorter than they would have liked, the Montana Tech Orediggers Volleyball Team has advanced to the big bracket and will host a first-round match in the NAIA National Tournament this Saturday.

It's a good time to be an Oredigger. Both the men's basketball team and football team are ranked in the national top ten and both have a big weekend on tap with the hoops squad hosting a mini-tournament and the football program wrapping up their regular-season with a huge game.

You could say Saturday's game between Montana Tech is a big one, but that would be a huge understatement. Sure, Tech/Carroll is always a big deal but this year it is a home game, the final regular season game of the year and it has playoff seedings and implications written all over it. Plus, we are having an unseasonably warm fall, and we could even be seeing a little bit of sunshine by kickoff on Saturday afternoon at 1pm.

If you are looking for a chance to see the Orediggers in action, there is no time like the present. The Montana Tech men's and women's basketball teams will both have their home-openers tonight and tomorrow at Kelvin Sampson Court and expectations are high for both squads.
