Fellow SEALs Back Sheehy, Powerful Ad in Crucial Montana Race
Who will you listen to? The ponytail vegetarian in Jon Tester's attack ad against Tim Sheehy who didn't even serve in the same unit as him in Afghanistan...or the Navy SEAL from Billings, Montana who lost both of his legs in Afghanistan?
In case you missed it, Fox News has a big story out showing how the Navy SEALs and EOD bomb techs who served with Tim Sheehy have his back.
"Tim Sheehy’s reputation as a SEAL is one of excellence and bravery. He was a great teammate, a strong leader and, most importantly, a good friend to so many of our brethren," the 19 SEALs and EOD Techs said in a joint-statement shared exclusively with Fox News Digital.
Not only that, his SEAL Team Two Commander calls the attacks against Tim Sheehy as "disgraceful."
"Tim Sheehy’s reputation as a SEAL is one of total dedication, personal sacrifice, and bravery. Dave Madden’s statements about Tim are disgraceful, misguided, and wrong," Mike Hayes, retired CDR and Commanding Officer of SEAL Team 2, told Fox News Digital.

ORIGINAL STORY POSTED May 2024: Powerful Message from Fellow Montana Navy SEAL for Tim Sheehy
Navy SEAL veteran and GOP Senate candidate Tim Sheehy's campaign just released a powerful new video from a fellow Montana Navy SEAL veteran.
Bo Reichenbach is a Navy SEAL from Billings, Montana who lost both of his legs following an IED attack in Afghanistan back in the summer of 2012. Here's a report from the Billings Gazette about a month after the attack occurred, as Bo was recovering at Walter Reed.
I remember when Bo was wounded, as my fellow American Legion friend George Blackard called me shortly after the attack happened. If I remember right, I was in Airborne School in Fort Benning, GA at the time, shortly after I had gotten home from my 3rd deployment overseas.
A few weeks ago, I attended a meet and great with Navy SEAL veteran and US Senate candidate Tim Sheehy at the VFW in the Billings Heights. While I had first gotten to know Sheehy several years ago, I appreciate seeing how candidates interact and connect with voters during in person meet and greet events.
I forgot who I was talking to, but they told me that before that event that Sheehy was meeting with Bo Reichenbach because they had served together in Afghanistan. In fact, Sheehy was there when Bo was wounded. Wow.
Here's the video of the ad where Bo says "Tim Sheehy is exactly who we need in the Senate."
Transcript:
Tim Sheehy led our unit in Afghanistan. That's why I'm alive today. When the IED went off, they didn't think I'd survive. Tim ran straight into danger to protect others, earning the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. Tim doesn't just talk about honor and sacrifice, he lives it. Trust me, Tim Sheehy is exactly who we need in the Senate.
ORIGINAL STORY POSTED MAY 2024: “Jon Tester’s Attacks on Tim’s Character Are Disgusting”
He was with Tim Sheehy in combat. They were both wounded by the same IED (improvised explosive device). Here's another powerful message in support of Navy SEAL veteran and Republican US Senate candidate Tim Sheehy.
Transcript: Tim Sheehy and I served dozens of missions together under constant attack. Tim and I were wounded by the same IED, earning Purple Hearts that same day. Even though Tim was hurt, he was looking out for me. He tended to my wounds, and he got me out safe. Tim is brave. Selfless. A real leader. And Jon Testers attacks on Tim's character are disgusting. Tim Sheehy is a real patriot, and he's exactly who we need in Washington.
By the way, I don't watch much TV so I think I read about this new campaign ad thanks to Montana Public Radio's Sally Mauk. Thanks for flagging!
Earlier this month, the Sheehy camp released another ad from fellow Montana Navy SEAL Bo Reichenbach. Bo grew up in Lockwood before serving in the Navy. Sheehy was there when Bo was wounded. "Tim Sheehy led our unit in Afghanistan. That's why I'm alive today," Reichenbach said in the ad.
This is a big deal for Montanans. We have over 100,000 veterans in the state- not to mention their spouses, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and other family members who know the sacrifices that have been made these past 20-plus years. The fact that his opponent has been so dismissive of Tim Sheehy's service and sacrifice is not a good look for the Democrat Party in Montana.
