Did you see the crazy video from the Demolition Derby in Glasgow, Montana? If not here it is. But more importantly, check out why they did the fundraiser for a 3 year old little girl.
All I can say is- they know how to make good fences in Northeast Montana. That number 5 car was flying in reverse, and then he launched over the berm straight into the fence- and the fence held.
Here's how Pierre Bibbs, the publisher of the Phillips County News in Malta described the scene:
Chaos at the Nemt Fair Demo Derby Herby Derby in Glasgow, Montana! Driver is okay... the fence is not.
Pierre then added this:
This driver and other drivers in the event gave it their all for Layton Moore, a little girl from Glasgow, Montana, who is battling Leukemia... More info here in her gofundme

Pierre tells me that the little girl's mom is from Malta. I wondered what a Malta Mustang was doing in Glasgow Scottie country. Pierre tells us that they will have a story in the Phillips County News about Layton soon.

Here's more details from the GoFundMe page set up to help Layton's family with all the expenses that are piling up.

Layton is a bright and spirited three-year-old with the curliest blond hair and a personality that lights up every room. She’s full of determination, joy, and just the right amount of sass—always making people smile. Earlier today, our family got heartbreaking news: Layton was diagnosed with leukemia. She was flown from our small hometown, Glasgow, Montana, to Denver Children’s Hospital to start treatment. Her parents, Jessica and Chris, dropped everything to be by her side.

Here's the closeup of the aftermath:
