“Sip N’ Support” fundraiser for St. James Healthcare Foundation Thursday at Finlen

The St, James Healthcare Foundation is excited to announce a fun event coming up this Thursday at the Finlen Hotel on East Broadway Street. "Sip N' Support" is a Fall Wine and Beer Tasting Event in uptown Butte from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  Along with wine and beer vendors providing an array of tastings throughout the evening, the foundation along with help from Summit Beverage will also provide food pairings, heavy appetizers, as well as a silent and live auction and live music by the Platinum Street Jazz Trio.  It promises to be a fun and elegant evening with proceeds going to a very good cause.

St. James Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization, was formed in 2003, and it operates to address three main purposes:

1. To raise funds to augment capital purchases and program development at St. James Healthcare.
2. To provide direct assistance to individuals and organizations in Butte and surrounding communities in relation to health care and healthy living.
3. To conduct outreach and awareness activities to maintain St. James and its Foundation as visible community partners in improving the living experience of local citizens and visitors.

The St. James Healthcare Foundation is also the proud sponsor of two scholarship programs for students who have chosen health care as their field of study, the Bern and Ruth Dennehy Scholarship Program and the St. James Nurse Alumni Scholarship Fund.
