Lunch in the Park comes to a close this Wednesday with Ken Rich
It's hard to believe that this is the final week of Lunch in the Park at Emma Park in Uptown Butte, but I've checked my calendar twice and that appears to be the case. But what a way to send it off. Multitalented multi-instrumentalist Ken Rich will be performing Wednesday from 11:30 to 1:30 and you can again expect food trucks, kids activities and a lot of fun.
What can you say about Ken Rich other than he is one of the most talented and entertaining musicians in our town's rich history. He simply does it all from guitar and bass to keyboards, and let's not even talk about what this guy does on a drum kit. You have probably seen his full band in action, but at Lunch in the Park we'll be enjoying his solo show where he needs nothing more than his acoustic guitar and his incredible voice. But there's no telling what he may show up with or what to expect songwise because Ken's set runs the full gamete from classic country to modern pop.
Rockin MT, 406 Fresh, Blissful Berry Bowls, Charee's Thai Food and Extra Sprinkles have been staples at Lunch in the Park over the course of the summer and a good selection is expected for the final event of the season. Also on hand will be members of the Butte Parks and Trails Foundation who are the folks behind not only Lunch in the Park but a number of projects and improvements being done all across the Mining City from the Gateway Arches to Thompson Park. Be sure to stop by their booth and thank them for another great summer of Lunch in the Park.
