Seriously, where has the time gone?  It seems like just yesterday we were welcoming back the food vendors, the foam machine, the big stage with Andy Larson and, of course, the big crowds that have been commonplace at Music on Main events every Thursday throughout the summer.  And here we are at the final event.  But what an event it is going to be.  As in years past, Missoula's hot country band ShoDown will be the musical guest and these guys are the closers for a reason.  They are one of the top bands in the Northwest and have become a favorite of many here in Butte.

But let's get back to Andy Larson.  Each week this summer, Andy along with John Jones and crew have provided the stage, sound, lighting and engineering that has absolutely rocked the Uptown for every event this year.  Their skill and knowledge make each Thursday night enjoyable with just the right mix for each band and a sound level that is perfect for the event.  Thank you, Andy and crew!

Music on Main will begin at 6pm with food trucks opening along with a kids area and children's activities along with complimentary Shirley Temples.  (Unfortunately, with school in session the next day, the foam machine will not be brought out.)  Butte Brewing will be providing adult libations along with the M&M Cigar Store who will also have a post-concert party with live music from The Berkeley Pits.

With Thursday's Tech/Carroll football game scheduled for 6pm as well, it is a good bet that the Uptown will be a lot busier than usual so plan on arriving a few minutes early.
