Butte Bulldogs Post Weekly Sports Schedule
The Butte Bulldogs fall sports season is in session and this week's sports schedule and there are plenty of opportunities to catch them in action, including the boys football home opener. Here is a look at where the Bulldogs will be in competition this week.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2
GOLF
- The Bulldog varsity teams will compete in Helena at the Bill Roberts Golf course with play beginning at 10am.
- The Bulldog JVs will be in action at the Beaverhead Invitational in Dillon with play also starting at 10am.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3
GOLF
- The Bulldog varsity teams will continue play in Helena at Bill Roberts Golf Course with play starting at 10am
FLAG FOOTBALL
- Butte's girls flag football team is home on Thursday and will face Missoula Hellgate at Naranche Stadium. The varsity game is at 5:30pm and the JV game is at 7pm.
VOLLEYBALL
- Dillon will be in town to take on the Frosh-White team at 4:15pm and the Sophomores at 5:30pm.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
FOOTBALL
- The Bulldogs will open the home portion of their schedule as they host the Billings Skyview Falcons at Naranche Stadium. The JV game is at 3pm and the varsity contest is at 7pm.
CROSS COUNTRY
- Butte Highs' cross country team is in action at the Belgrade Invitational. Races begin at 10am.
SOCCER
- The Bulldogs are on an overnight trip to the Flathead Valley and will take on the Glacier Wolfpack on Friday. The girls JV and boys varsity matches are at 2pm while the boys JV and girls varsity matches are set for 4pm.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
SOCCER
- The soccer program's trip up north concludes with matches against the Flathead Braves. The girls JV and boys varsity matches will take place at 10am while the boys JV and girls varsity matches will be played at noon.
FOOTBALL
- Butte will host the Butte Frosh Jamboree with Belgrade, Missoula Sentinel and East Helena coming to town. Games will begin at 10am.
FLAG FOOTBALL
- It's a day trip to Kalispell for the flag football team with games against both high schools on the schedule. The JVs will play Flathead at 1pm and Glacier at 3pm while the varsity team plays Glacier at 2pm and Flathead at 4pm.
