We are heading into the homestretch of the fall sports regular season with the Butte High football team riding a winning streak and eyeing a playoff spot.  They will be home this week as will the volleyball team but soccer and cross country will see action as well.  Here is a look at where the Bulldogs will be competing this week.

FOOTBALL

The Bulldog football team is getting hot at just the right time and are riding a 2-game winning streak after last Friday’s dismantling of Flathead High of Kalispell.  This week the Bulldogs will be home again, hosting the Hellgate varsity this Friday at 6pm at Naranche Stadium.

Sub varsity play will see the frosh travel to Missoula Hellgate on Wednesday for a 3pm contest and the JVs hosting the Deer Lodge Wardens at Naranche Stadium at 2pm on Thursday.

VOLLEYBALL

Butte High’s volleyball team will get things started on the road this Tuesday, playing at Helena Capital.  Frosh-purple and sophomore matches are at 4pm, Frosh-white and JVs are at 5:30pm and the varsity match is at 7pm.

On Thursday the Bulldogs return home to host Helena High School with matches beginning early with the frosh-purple and sophomore matches set for noon, the frosh-white and JVs for 1:30pm and the varsity match for 3pm.

SOCCER

It’s a Tuesday road trip for the soccer team as they head to Missoula to take on the Hellgate Knights.  Girls varsity and boys JV matches are set for 3pm while the boys varsity and girls JV matches will start at 5pm.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Bulldog cross country team will be in Bozeman on Thursday for the Bozeman/Gallatin Meet with races starting at 10am at Cottonwood Golf Course.
