After a fun and successful Homecoming week, Butte Central's football team will have a bye week but there is plenty of action in volleyball, golf and cross country as the Maroons head into another week of competition.  Here is where you will be able to find them in action this week.

GOLF

Butte Central's golf team has a lot to be excited about this season behind the stellar play of freshman Mya McGree and junior Beau McGree who have both started the season on impressive runs.  On Tuesday, the golfers will head to the Flathead Valley for play in the Polson Invitational.  Play will begin at 10am.  On Thursday and Friday the team will head only a few miles west of town for competition in the Butte High Invitational with play both days beginning at 10am.  On Saturday it's a road trip to Hamilton and play in the Hamilton Invitational with a 10am tee time.

VOLLEYBALL

The Butte Central volleyball team has a lone match on this week's slate and it will be at home on Thursday, September 17th against the Corvallis Blue Devils.  The freshmen play at 4:15pm, the JVs at 5:30pm and the varsity match is set for 7pm.  All matches are at the Maroon Activity Center, 550 E. Mercury.

CROSS COUNTRY

The Butte Central cross country team heads to one of the Northwest's biggest meets of the season on Saturday, the Mountain West Cross Country Meet at the University of Montana Golf Course in Missoula.  The first race of the day is set for 10am.
