Butte Central Football Hosts Hamilton Friday Night For Senior Parent Night
After one of the busiest weekends of the athletic season for Butte Central, there is little rest for the Maroons as the football team gears up for Senior Parent Night, the volleyball team prepares for a pair of league contests and the cross country team gears up for the state meet with an important preliminary. Here is where you will be able to catch the Maroons in action this week.
FOOTBALL
After coming up short last week against one of the better teams in Class A in the Frenchtown Broncs, Butte Central has little time to hang their heads as they prepare to host division leader Hamilton on Friday night at Bob Green Field. Kickoff is set for 7pm at Bob Green field as the Maroons will host Senior Parent Night.
VOLLEYBALL
Last week the Maroons hosted one of the state’s biggest volleyball tournaments of the season in the 26-team Blocktoberfest. This week the Maroons are back at home on Thursday, hosting the Frenchtown Broncs. The freshman game is at 4:15pm, the JVs play at 5:30pm and the varsity teams will tangle at 7pm.
On Saturday it’s another league game, this one on the road at Corvallis. It’s an early start with the freshmen playing at noon, the JVs at 1:30pm and the varsity match set for 3pm.
CROSS COUNTRY
With the state meet only weeks away, the Maroon cross country team will have a big tuneup on Friday with the Western A Classic Cross Country Meet taking place in Bigfork. The first race of the day is scheduled for 2pm.
