Brawls and Kickstart Days coming August 22nd and 23rd to Original Mineyard
It's hard to believe that it's only been 5 years since Monty Klistoff and his fantastic crew at NXTgen Entertainment began what they thought was going to be a modest endeavor in Butte's summer season. August is the perfect time for outdoor events in our region and as Knievel Days and many other festivals and events proved before, Butte is ready to party in late Summer. "Brawls and Kickstart Days" got its start in the parking lot behind the Butte Depot for the first couple of years, but the crowd was too darn big, even for that expansive venue. And with good reason. Klistoff and NXTgen brought bare-knuckle boxing, mixed martial arts, motocross insanity and even a little bit of live music into the mix and the party was a hit from the get-go.
BRAWLS AND KICKSTART DAYS MOVES TO ORIGINAL MINEYARD
August 22nd and 23rd, the Brawls and Kickstart party is going to move up the hill to the Original Mineyard where there will be bare-knuckle boxing on Friday and a live concert on Saturday with the band Wheatus who are known for their top 10 hit, "Teenage Dirtbag".
The announcement regarding the headlining musical act and venue change came late yesterday and details are forthcoming, but with one of Montana's finest festival grounds and most ambitious promoters behind it, you know that much more information is forthcoming regarding ticket sales and vendor information. We will be sure to keep our ears to the grindstone and keep you posted as more details are made available.
