Berkeley Pits, Bingo and breakfast this weekend at Butte Elks
Live music with the Berkeley Pits kicks off another big weekend of activity at the Butte Elks on Galena St. that includes bingo and a Mother's Day breakfast.
Hailing from the shores of beautiful Lake Berkeley are John Stenson and Mark LaFond. They are no strangers to the Elks as they have quickly become one of the venues most popular acts. You will love their rock and country. Each has an incredible voice and the harmonies they produce together is by itself worth checking out. The Berkeley Pits will play tonight from 8 until 11pm with no cover and if you can't make it to tonight's show, they will be playing at Slainte Butte America Pub tomorrow night. Doors tonight at the Elks will open at 6pm.
On Saturday a very special bingo fundraiser will be held with some really cool prizes.
There will be a 12-game bingo event starting at 5pm to benefit the Hungry Hill Center for Art, Education and Outreach. Prizes are all hand-made and include ceramics, quilts and more. The Grand prize is a Raku pottery workshop for two. Whether you want to celebrate Spring, Mother's Day or if you just have an appreciation for the arts (or for bingo) this will be a very fun and worthy event to attend. Proceeds will help Hungry Hill Center upgrade their transportation.
Make plans to attend Mother's Day Breakfast on Sunday with the Centerville Volunteer Fire Department.
The menu includes pancakes. eggs. bacon or sausage, coffee, milk and juice.
Adults are admitted for $10, children 6 to 12 are $5 and those under 5 eat free. Families will get in for $25.
