After the second day of the Frontier Conference Golf Tournament in Henderson, NV, some strong individual performances kept both the Montana Tech mens and womens golf teams in second place in team standings.
The Montana Tech men’s and women’s golf teams both sit in second place after the first round of the Frontier Conference Championships at Reflection Bay Golf Club.
The accolades keep rolling in for the Montana Tech Orediggers Track and Field team. For the second time this young season, both a male and female Oredigger have been selected as the Frontier Conference's Athlete of the Week for Track and Field. The following is from a press release:
The Frontier Conference announced its All-Academic teams for Men's and Women's Basketball earlier today and the Montana Tech Orediggers are very well-represented on both teams.
Even though most of Montana is braving what is hoped to be the last storm of the winter, Track and Field Season is off and running, at least on the collegiate level. Dornblaser Field in Missoula was the site of the Al Manuel Invitational and the Montana Tech Orediggers were represented quite nicely.
The NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) announced its 2022-23 Women’s Basketball All-America team earlier today. The Frontier Conference was well represented.
Playing without Frontier Conference MVP Caleb Bellach, the Montana Tech Orediggers found solid ground in overtime and were able to fend off Thomas More University of Kentucky 77-72 in the second round of the NAIA National Men's Basketball Tournament Wednesday night at Kelvin Sampson Court.
