The Line of the Night from Sheehy-Tester Montana Senate Debate

If you missed the 2nd debate between Navy SEAL veteran Tim Sheehy (R-MT) and liberal Senator Jon Tester (D-MT)...the full video from Montana PBS is embedded below.

This was definitely the line of the night.

Tim Sheehy: Well, Senator Tester knows all about back Room meetings. He's been taking em for 20 years. He's the number one recipient of lobbyists cash. Number one recipient of lobbyist cash in the whole country. Of all candidates, number one.  So if you want to talk about backroom meetings- while I was fighting in Afghanistan, he was eating lobbyist steak in DC.

"Jon Tester is behind in the #MTSen race and tonight’s debate clearly showed why that is. He’s unable to defend over two decades of a far-left voting record that’s out of step with Montanans. #mtpol"

What stood out to me was how Tester kept saying, "well, I have a bill" or "well, I had a bill." You've been in Washington for how long? We're on the brink of WWII. Grocery prices are crazy. Gas and other energy prices are crazy. The invasion on our southern border has been going on for 3 1/2 years and YOUR party allowed it to happen. I added this via X mid way through the debate: "50-50 Senate. Jon Tester could have marched his a** down to the White House and demanded Biden get Keystone up and running and secure the border. He refused. Butte's Jimmy Keane (D) and Scobey's John Brenden (R) made that point early on.
