Major Airline Surprisingly Ends Awesome Direct Flight In Montana

Montana residents are able to fly directly to several locations across the country, and a major airline has decided to cut a popular direct flight.

A winter-seasonal direct flight offered by Alaska Airlines from Bozeman, Montana to Boise, Idaho has ended. The flight was part of Alaska's "sun to ski" promotion.

For many, the news is very disappointing. There isn't another airline that flies direct to Boise from Montana. As someone who travels to Boise often, the flight made getting there much easier.

Usually, a flight to Boise takes around 7 hours, because there's always a layover in Seattle or Portland, You can literally drive to Boise in the same amount of time it would take you to fly.

Hopefully, the fine folks at Alaska Airlines decide to bring the flight back, even if it is only seasonal. Traveling to Boise for the holidays was a breeze, and the flight took less than an hour.
