Some of us will stick to coasting on the blues instead of trying this ski run.

Montana Ski Areas

There's a ski hill for everyone.

Whether you prefer the upscale resorts or a local ski area, there's a place for everyone to shred powder in Montana.

Whether you ski, snowboard, or prefer hanging out at the chalet having an adult beverage, every Montana ski area is a fantastic place to enjoy your day.

If you're starting your skiing or snowboarding journey and want a hill with easy trail runs, don't worry. Most Montana ski hills have ski runs labeled due to their difficulty.

Some people love to test their skills on black diamonds, but most of us love taking it easy on blues or greens.

A few Montana areas have double or even triple black diamonds.

Those trails are for professional skiers or folks with heavy experience with obstacles, trees, and rocks.

They aren't for someone who is brand new to the slopes.

The Montana ski area with the most dangerous trails is probably Big Sky Resort.

The amount of triple black diamonds and cliff surfaces can make any average skier feel faint.

What if you want more danger? There's a place close by you might check out.

Corbet's Couloir

Just a few hour's drive from Bozeman(depending on the roads) is Jackson Hole Ski Area.

Jackson Hole is home to one of the most dangerous ski trails in the world.

Corbet's Couloir is a chute that immediately drops you 10 to 20 feet and is a straight shot of speed and agility.

If you make one wrong move, ski patrol will take you back to base and send you to the hospital.

It takes either pure courage or insanity to go down this run.

Do you have the guts?
