Montana Has Two Of The Most Beautiful Places in America
Montana should have a handful of spots on this list, but at least we are mentioned a few times.
Montana and beauty go hand in hand. Anywhere you go in Montana, you will be met with gorgeous scenery and memorable spots. Montana is one of the most naturally beautiful states, and it's a main draw for many tourists who come here yearly.
Montana has places that will take your breath away. These spots can be found in the national or state parks in Montana, and some of them are hidden away on long hikes in the backcountry. Most of us understand how fortunate we are to live in such a special place.
Then there is this report that might seem a little surprising.
Insider came out with a list of the 40 Most Beautiful Places in America, and I expected to see Montana on the list at least a handful of times, but I was wrong.
Montana had two places land on this list, and it makes sense but is also generic.
The first thing to land on the list is the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. Simply put, the Grand Prismatic Spring is like no place on Earth. It's a must-see spot.
The spring is so acidic and filled with bacteria that the water gives off unique colors and eye-catching views.
The other spot that made the list is Glacier National Park.
Insider notes the over 700 miles of hiking trails and Going To The Sun Raod as highlights, but we need to add Lake McDonald to why this area is so beautiful.
What other places should have made the list? There are several. Flathead Lake, Lewis & Clark Caverns, and Gates of the Mountains are all beautiful places that should be on this list. Maybe one day, Insider will fix it.
