Travellers Elixir published a list of the 23 Most Stunning Mountain Towns and two popular Montana locations made the list. Both Big Sky and Whitefish made the list. That won't come as a big surprise to Montanans, as both towns are not only beautiful, but they're also very tourist-friendly.

Big Sky, popular for its world-class skiing is also known for its multi-million dollar homes and condos. Not to mention is also very close to the Yellowstone Club, which is one of the most exclusive "neighborhoods" in the world.

Whitefish is also known for its skiing, however, with the close vicinity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish is a popular destination all year long and has been voted the friendliest town in America.
