Now hate is a strong word. I was taught to 'strongly dislike' something or someone, but hate wasn't really a word my mother used very often. It could be because she is so kind and truly believes in treating people the way you want to be treated.

As far as a 'true Montanan', I would never claim to be one, but I would say that growing up in the Midwest, we do value most, if not all, of the same things. Small town living, outdoors, quiet nights, and animals. We respect our parents, our church, and our land. It's pretty simple.

48th! Good job Montana! We are almost the least hated state! This may not be the news that people want to hear, as it typically releases the trolls favorite comment, "We're FULL". I get it, I really do. I loved the Bozeman I first met in 2002, it was just the right size, traffic was non-existent, and you could see gravel roads from intown basically.

The state most hated by other states is California, as 9 states say it’s the worst.-Zippia

But let's be honest, we all know how great Montana is, that's why we live here. Clearly we are not the only ones who think Montana is pretty great, too.

BUT if you're looking to move to the most liked state, then book a U-Haul to Colorado.
