Yep, you read that right, when it comes to the best states for outdoor lovers, Wyoming is ranked first.

The folks over at RVezy used 12 different metrics to determine which state was the best for those who love the outdoors. Things like hiking trails, campgrounds, waterfalls, and public land were just a few of the metrics used.

Where does Montana rank for outdoor lovers?

Well, we know that Montana isn't in the Top Spot and we're not in the second spot either. However, we did make the Top 5 and are ranked in 3rd overall. Now, it should be noted that the overall ranking is a combination of things, however, Montana does rank 2nd in waterfalls, 2nd in hiking trails, and 2nd in State Parks.
