Butte's Lunch in the Park to feature The Mauldin Brothers

Lunch in the Park at Emma Park is back in full swing in Uptown Butte and Wednesday is going to be full of food, music and fun for the kids.

The Mauldin Brothers will be the featured musical act tomorrow starting at 11:30. The Mauldin Brothers have been performing together for a decade and will bring a "southern jam" sound to the festivities. Bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket to spread out and get there early for an area closest to the stage.

With temperatures expected to be in the mid 80s, organizers are ready to help kids beat the heat with a little bit of help from the Butte-Silver Bow Fire Department. They will have a fire truck equipped with a "sprinkler" on hand, so pack along a couple of extra towels and some sunscreen. The folks from the fire department will also have some cool giveaways.

Lunch in the Park has brought out some of the best local food trucks in the area and more are expected this week as well.

Of course, you are always welcome to bring a bag lunch or a cooler to Lunch in the Park, just please leave the pets at home. Lunch in the Park will run tomorrow from 11:30 to 1:30.
