Butte High Athletics has a very busy week ahead, as long as Mother Nature decides to play along.

The amount of crossed-out events and line items in red, makes me think of that time I flunked 5th grade. Having spring events getting scratched because of the weather is nothing new, but this year feels excessive.

Here is the day-by-day rundown of Butte High’s Activities:

Monday:

Butte High Softball hosting Sentinel for a doubleheader. 3pm and 5 pm, for both Varsity and Junior Varsity

Butte High Baseball hosting Belgrade at 3 Legends. 3pm Varsity, 5pm Junior Varsity.

Butte High Tennis will travel to Belgrade to battle Belgrade and Bozeman. 2pm.

 

Tuesday:

Butte High Softball is at Bozeman. 1 Game- 5pm.

Butte High Baseball hosting East Helena 1pm Varsity, 3pm Junior Varsity

 

Wednesday:

Butte High Tennis at Missoula Big Sky 3pm

 

Thursday:

Butte High Softball hosting Helena Capital 5pm Varsity,  3pm Junior Varsity

Butte High Track is at Gallatin, vs. Bozeman and Gallatin. 2pm

 

Friday:

Butte High Baseball hosting Beaverhead at 3 Legends. Varsity at 5pm, Junior Varsity at 3pm.

Butte High Tennis hosting Helena High School. 1pm

 

Saturday:

No events are scheduled.

Butte will be very busy with State AA post-season activities. The mining city will host the Western AA Divisionals for Tennis May 18-19.

3 Legends Stadium will host the first MHSA State baseball tournament in Montana’s history, on May 18,19,20.

On May 26th and 27th, the MHSA Class AA and B State Track meet will be in Butte at East Middle School, on Charlie Merrifield track.
