New Name, Same Trusted Healthcare For Southwest Montana

Blacktail Health may sound new to your ears but it's actually an entity that has been around for 40 years.  Most people in Southwest Montana have utilized or at least are familiar with the old Southwest Montana Community Health Center, and simply put it has simply rebranded to Blacktail Health.

"We've had several names over the years and over that time we have grown into several communities in Southwest Montana including Anaconda and Dillon, and we all had a bit of a different name under the Southwest Montana Community Health Umbrella," Tammy Cox of Blacktail Health told us.  "We felt that we needed a better name and something that better reflected who we are and the services that we offer and also a name that would unite us under that one brand.  Something a little easier to market, something more recognizable for the community."

Recognition is key as Cox told us that Blacktail Health is an option for literally everyone in the community, from general care to dentistry, pharmacy services to behavioral health and wellness. "We have sliding fee scales available for people who qualify and that is based on household income and family size, so we do whatever we can to remove barriers to care," Cox told us. " We even have a mobile clinic."

What this means is that the same services you came accustomed to at Southwest Montana Community Health Center are all continuing, if not improving.  "We very much believe that everyone deserves high quality health care regardless of your situation," Cox added.
