Music and Radio are two of my biggest passions and I am lucky to be able to combine both in my profession. I have been a professional on air personality for close to a quarter of a century and owe this to being introduced to music at a young age. As a boy I would search the late nite AM airwaves for signals from distant cities and can't believe that I am now one of the radio voices I heard. My hobbies are playing the guitar, poker, sports and gardening.

Rockin’ the Rivers 2024 set to blast off this August at “The Bridge”
You don't survive for more than 2 decades as an annual entertainment event in Montana unless you're doing a lot of things right and giving people a good experience. Especially if you're a music festival. Well, since 2001, Rockin' the Rivers has done that and more and has become one of the premiere music festivals in the Northwest. How? By bringing in great bands to a gorgeous natural environment and mixing that with accessible camping, an array of different food and merchandise vendors and thousands of rock fans ready to get down for 3 days in the Montana summer. It's a recipe for fun and organizers are gearing up for a big show this August.

This may be the only car show in Montana that you are allowed to fly into. But then again, not a lot of car shows take place at an airport or have planes and flight simulators for folks to check out. Butte's Wings & Wheels does. Wings & Wheels is not only one of the biggest car shows of the early season but aircraft will be on display too and they will give you a chance to get a behind-the-scenes look at how an airport operates. Oh, and there will be flight simulators on hand as well. Sound fun? Well, it is. And there's lots to eat too.

Butte Northwestern Energy Employees make impressive donation to Montana Shelter Animals
"That must be one hungry dog," I commented to Colleen. She told me with a smile that they were for a lot of dogs. Cats too. The dogs and cats at the Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter. But McDonald and Thorsrud do not work at the shelter. They work at the Uptown Northwestern Energy office and all of this food, and then some, was the result of some clever fundraising between departments and some very generous individual donors, all because they found out that the shelter needed help.
