Back to the broken record for a moment, the Men’s Frontier Conference is incredibly competitive.

Tech women look to fill Bear tags
The ‘Wild Frontier’ certainly lived up to its billing last night.
On the women’s side, the top 3 teams ran away with their respective games. Rocky took down Providence at home 61-44, Carroll stormed into the Armory and rolled Northern 59-36, and last but not least, the Bulldogs of UM Western put together a solid 40 minutes in Butte to walk away with a 71-47 win.
Western AA Divisional Wrestling at the Butte Civic Center
The Western AA Divisional Wrestling Tournament is here in the Mining City Today and Saturday. The Butte Civic Center will host the 2-day event for both boys and girls. Matches will start at 2 pm Friday, and then at 11 am on Saturday.
Bonspiel anyone?
This weekend’s bonspiel will be a competitive event at the Winninghoff Park Rink, with matches starting at 6 pm or Friday, running throughout the day on Saturday, and wrapping up with the Finals on Sunday at 10 am.
Digger-Dawg – Round 3
With the unbalanced schedule in the Frontier, the Diggs have already played Western twice at Straugh, and Thursday will be the Bulldog’s lone trip to Butte this year.
It’s time for Tech – Western in Butte
This will be the third and final regular season matchup between the Orediggers and Bulldogs, though they could certainly see one another in the tournament.
The first 40K tournament in Butte history
The first Warhammer 40,000 tournament took place at Crimson Phoenix games on Sunday. The first time a tournament of this kind has ever happened in Butte.
Butte’s Empty Bowls is set for April 5th
Empty Bowls is a fundraiser for the Butte Food Bank, and the Backpack Program. The Backpack program is an effort to make sure every kid has enough to eat away from school. The Program provides child-friendly, non-perishable food that is easily prepared at home for kids and distributed in backpacks before weekends and holidays.
I-15 south CLOSED
I-15 is closed from the 15-90 junction at Nissler, all the way to the Idaho Line.
Bulldogs look to tame the Bengals
After battling the Capital Bruins on Thursday night, the Bulldogs of Butte High School will now ready themselves for another clash on Saturday, this time with the Helena High Bengals.
